Solution:

⇨Let the speed of 1st car be x Km/h

⇨Than speed of 2nd Car will be = $\large x\times \frac{8}{9} km/h$

⇨After 7 hours Distance travelled by
⇨1st car = $\large xkm/h\times 7h$ = 7x Km

⇨2nd Car = = 56x/9 Km

AQ

$7x+\frac{56x}{9}=595$

$\large \Rightarrow \frac{63x+56x}{9}=595$

$\large \Rightarrow \frac{119x}{9}=595$

$\large \Rightarrow 119x=595\times 9$

$\large \Rightarrow 119x=5355$

$\large \Rightarrow x=\frac{5355}{119}$

$\large \Rightarrow x=45$

⇨ Therefore Speed of 1st car = 45 Km/h

⇨ Therefore Speed of 2nd car

= 8x/9 Km/h

= $\large \frac{8\times 45}{9} km/h$

= 40 Km/h
